With preseason coming to an end, MLS sides and players are just finding their rhythm – but the same cannot be said for Julian Hall, who's rhythm is always on point. The 16-year-old starlet enjoyed a breakout 2024 season and has continued that vein of form into preseason, showing his skills against San Jose Earthquakes.
Hall had home and away fans alike on their feet during the Coachella Valley Invitational, as he beat players at will.

Hall signed for the club in 2020 when he joined the New York Red Bulls Academy and since has grown from strength to strength. So much so that the American led New York’s U15 side to the MLS Next Cup title and won the MVP award in the process, netting six goals.
That has allowed him to get regular looks in the New York Red Bulls’ first team and he was also part of GOAL's NXGN selections after his impressive performances for the club.
However, he wasn’t a regular member of the squad. And while that may change in the near future, Hall has already begun to attract attention from across Europe. Reports have indicated that Barcelona and several other major European sides are keeping a close eye on Hall’s progress.
WHAT NEXT FOR HALL AND RED BULLS?
With the 2025 MLS season fast approaching, the New York Red Bulls have two more preseason friendlies left before their opening 2025 MLS opener against FC Cincinnati.
