Nearly four months after the shooter’s first teaser trailer, Activision has finally released a dedicated Multiplayer trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which also comes alongside a massive blog post detailing the game’s maps, modes, weapons, perks, and much more. In total, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will launch with eighteen Multiplayer maps for players to check out, with three of them being remasters from one of the most iconic Call of Duty games of all time, Black Ops 2.
There’s still just under two months left to go until the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, but the release of today’s Multiplayer trailer is just the beginning of some big info dumps before fans get to go hands-on with the open beta in October. While today’s trailer has given fans a glimpse of the new weapons, modes, maps, scorestreaks, and more, Activision has also confirmed that a new trailer for Black Ops 7 Zombies will be released on September 24, which will likely provide fans of the mode with plenty of new information surrounding its story, maps, and more.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Releases New Multiplayer Trailer
Following on from its official gameplay reveal trailer during Gamescom Opening Night Live, Activision has now given fans their best look yet at Call of Duty: Black Ops 7‘s Multiplayer. The nearly three-minute-long trailer comes with everything fans have come to expect from a Call of Duty trailer: collaterals, explosions, executions, airstrikes, and more. But aside from the standard Call of Duty antics, the trailer also shows all eighteen of the game’s launch maps, two of which will be 20v20 Skirmish maps, the new Overclock system, field upgrades, weapons, and more. The studio has also released a huge blog post alongside the trailer with further details.
Die-hard Call of Duty fans will be pleased to know that some of the series’ most iconic game modes will be returning with the launch of Black Ops 7, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Search and Destroy, Gunfight, and many more. But for those looking for something new, Overload is a brand-new game mode coming to Black Ops 7 at launch and will also be available in the game’s open beta. Activision describes the mode as a “push and pull 6v6 respawn mode,” which challenges teams to overload the enemy’s control zones. One device spawns on the map, and players must rush to grab it and take it to one of two enemy zones near their spawn to score a point. A new device will then spawn in the field afterwards.
